  Wonderful and personalized alternative to urgent care or going to the ER! If you're unfortunate enough to be sick on your Colorado holiday, better to be at your vacation home rather than sitting in a waiting room. When you call AMP, you receive a brief evaluation to ensure you don't need a higher level of care, e.g. an ER. When the physician arrives, s/he takes his time with you and will come back to check up on you if necessary. The doctors bring an array of supplies and medicines and can treat you on the spot, including supplemental oxygen and breathing treatments (since mountain sickness is really common). The cost of treatment is initially out of pocket, but AMP provides you paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement before the doctor leaves. Definitely call AMP if you need medical attention in this area!

  While vacationing in Vail for Thanksgiving, I got a serve case of altitude sickness and found out there were not walk in clinics in the area. I got a recommendation to call Alpine Mobile Physicians from a local resident. They responded to our call within minutes and were at our house within 40 minutes. Dr Doug Mayeda came with all of the needed equipment-including an Oxygen concentrator. After a thorough review and exam, he provided me the needed Rx. He even gave me advice for my future health consideration on BP treatment. We were just really impressed with his thoroughness and consideration. He was there for about 2.5 hours and then called twice the next day to check up on me. It was very convenient and competitively priced with the hospital ER. I would used Dr Doug again in a heart beat.
